Monday morning blues
As of 8:30 a.m. this morning we have approximately 2" of snow. The snow is not scheduled to stop until around 5 pm today. Fingers crossed! So it looks like that there will not be any framing started until late this week. Based on the timeline for the house it looks like we are trending more than 3 weeks behind thus far. Enough already!

More Snow delay's
My apologies, I am running a little behind on my post. We took these photos on Tuesday, February 26th. We were hoping the home would be much further a long by now, but we have had some crazy weather. More SNOW! Lots, and lots of snow. Just in the past two weeks we have had 3 snow storms.
JJ and I have been driving out to the site almost daily in hopes to see any progress. We have had a few day's of sunshine this past week, so we did get the basement and garage floors poured. When we were out at the home site Friday evening, we had an opportunity to speak with our PM regarding the framing schedule. He said that when the weather broke this past week, all the framers were busy on other homes at other sites. Just our luck :( So they were scheduled to begin the framing tomorrow, Monday March 3rd.... but once again, we are starring down another snow storm. Weather forecasters are predicting another 10 inches of snow tonight. Here's the forecast for the next few days:
Fingers crossed we can get minimal snow tonight so they can start framing by Wednesday before the freezing rain hit's Friday.
DELAY TIME FRAME:
So as of today, we are approximately 2 1/2 weeks behind schedule. More than likely by the end of this week we will be a little over 3 weeks. We have been anxiously waiting to see the skeleton of our home, and with all these delays it seems like it will never happen. UGH! Mother nature.... can you give us 2 good weeks of sunshine so we can get our home rolling?

Plumbers are working hard!
Despite all the snow, the plumbers finally showed up to install all the main drains in our home. We are still in for some crazy weather, but hopefully they can complete the job before the next storm.
